Since I was in my mid 20's, I had a yearning to design jewelry. So often, I would have friends who had inherited jewelry from someone and so wanted to wear it, yet it was not in a style that seemed to "fit" them. When I look at something, I don't see it exactly the way it is and I easily envision it morphing into something new and exciting using the scrap gold and the same stones .... just in a different and more personally pleasing form. Can’t we all relate to this when our jewelry is passed down to our daughters? Let's be honest ... for the most part, they won't like the style either!
I also dreamed of a small boutique-type jewelry shop of my own. That way the customers could come in and we could get to know each other. We begin building a trust.. .. it's just more comfortable and personal than the big box stores. That is what jewelry should be ..... comfortable and personal.
With the recent downturn in the economy, gold and platinum have become less affordable for many of us; however, we still want to have chic and unique accessories. So I shop far and wide to bring those types of items into Golden I for you! /still want nothing more than to meet the needs of my customers with the merchandise in my store. My main objective is to make certain it's unique and chic!
Another goal I have is to select pieces that are made in the U.S. -
although I also have pieces from Italy, Paris, and other places around the world.

To those of you that have visited Golden I ….. I sincerely thank you and for those of you who have not yet visited ..... we look forward to meeting you!
